Science Park and Pak Shek Kok have many long-running workstations and render machines, with high VRAM and power loads. Tai Po Industrial Estate is dusty, so cooling fails more easily. Lam Tsuen and Shuen Wan: if coming into town is inconvenient, mailing the card in saves more time than travelling back and forth. These shopping centres, parks and estates are not shops.

How to Get to Shek Mun
East Rail from Tai Po Market or Tai Wo to Tai Wai, change to the Tuen Ma line to Shek Mun, about 20 minutes. Science Park and Pak Shek Kok: go to University Station first, then change.
Tai Po Common Card Problems
Black screen mid-render or AI compute: for long-running machines at Science Park and Pak Shek Kok, shut down first. Full load hardens thermal paste and overheats VRAM — do not keep pushing it.
Thick dust in Science Park server rooms: fans spin but temperatures stay high; usually needs dust removal, paste replacement and a check of thermal pad thickness.
No display after unstable voltage in Tai Po Industrial Estate and village houses: the power phases may be damaged as well. Diagnosis measures the voltage rails; the core is not reballing first.
After work in Tai Po Market and Tai Wo: East Rail plus the Tai Wai transfer is about 20 minutes, in time to reach Shek Mun before 20:00. The Mega Mall does not accept cards.

Science Park, Pak Shek Kok
Many workstations and render machines. Go to University Station first, then change to Shek Mun. Bring only the graphics card; the server cabinets do not need to come. Science Park has no repair bench.
Residences and offices: go to University Station first. Long-running cards should be shut down before mailing in or handing over in person. Pak Shek Kok is not a shop.
Near University Station. Student and laboratory cards likewise go to Shek Mun; the campus does not accept cards.
Industrial Estate, Lam Tsuen
Very dusty. Remove the graphics card before mailing; the chassis does not need to come. The delivery address is Room 1209, Dali Plaza, Shek Mun, Sha Tin.
No MTR. Mailing the card in is more practical than going to Tai Po Market and changing twice. No display after unstable village-house voltage needs diagnosis first.
